Aisle-Master has launched a new coldstore narrow-aisle forklift truck. The new range has 930 amp batteries and is rated for temperatures as low as -40°C.
Driver comfort is important for operational efficiency and the new cab design provides a warm and comfortable operating environment, reducing the amount of break time needed for increased productivity.
Battery changeover is fast using a pallet truck at the rear of the Aisle-Master. The new range features: heated cab windows which eliminate the build up of condensation when driving between different temperatures in a building; allocated areas in the cab for the use of a bar code scanner;
low energy LED work lights as standard; and a 48V heater.
Aisle-Masters can work in aisles of just 1.75m, have capacities of up to 2.5 tonnes, lift heights of up to 12.5m, with a choice of AC electric or LPG power. Also new to the range is the narrow 1,030mm chassis 1,500kg capacity 15E model, able to work in even tighter aisles for more space saving handling and storage. A parts warranty of five years or 5,000 hours now offers even more peace of mind for users and underlines the extreme reliability of the range.
