Liphook, UK: Chilled operator Alan Knight Transport has switched pallet network. The company, which is covering the GU postcode, has moved to Pallet-Track from the United Pallet Network (UPN).
Knight told www.roadtransport.com: “Moving to the Pallet-Track network is a major development for our company, and will open up exciting opportunities going forward. We are looking forward to our business plans to increase the company’s prominence in the palletised freight industry.”
Pallet work accounts for around 20% of Alan Knight’s business. When Alan Knight joined UPN last year the company said that most of its fleet was refrigerated artics. Alan Knight said that joining a pallet network would enable it to offer customers an additional service.
