Fort Worth, Texas, US: American Airlines Cargo, which has recently invested in “cold-chain” infrastructure, has been recognized as “Best Cargo Airline in The Americas” for the fifth consecutive year.
In this year’s Cargo Airline of the Year award poll, run by London publication “Air Cargo News”, more than 25,000 votes were cast by supply chain professionals for their preferred global providers. UK-based British International Freight Association (BIFA) audited the voting in the 29th annual competition.
The airline has spent money on new cold-chain infrastructure to serve the rapidly growing demand of pharmaceutical companies for temperature-controlled shipping solutions.
