Tianjin, China: The Asian Development Bank is to loan $24 million to Chinese logistics company Tianjin Binhai Teda Logistics for a cold-chain logistics project in Tianjin, a port city in North China.
This is the bank’s first involvement in China’s logistics sector.
The cold-chain logistics centre includes refrigerated storage and domestic shipping and container yard services.
The centre is expected to be operational in 2014.
