London, UK: Brakes Group says it will achieve 50% of the Driver CPC for its 1,929 existing lorry drivers in the UK and Ireland by May. Brakes’ existing drivers will have completed 21 hours of the 35 hours required by September 2012.
The company anticipates that all existing drivers will achieve the full 35 hours of training required by early summer 2014 when all drivers will be awarded their Driver Qualification Card (DQC) to comply with the EU’s deadline of September 2014.
