Cartwright seeks new sites

Manchester, UK: Trailer maker and rental company Cartwright is looking for new sites for its burgeoning trailer rental division. The said turnover for the division is approaching £20m a year.

It currently has five sites and is looking to open further branches in the north west, East Midlands and London.

Steven Cartwright, director said: “We have the largest trailer rental offering in the UK and the advantage is that it allows new customers to try our product range before considering the option of an investment in new-build products.

“We have further expansion planned over the next six months, bringing our diverse rental solutions to more customers.

“Inquiry levels, particularly from major plcs, manufacturers and small-to-medium sized operators across the board is very healthy for all product types, but especially for double-deck equipment.

“Current inquiry levels are the highest for nearly six years.”

Cartwright’s current rental centres are in Altrincham, Avonmouth, Cardiff, Northampton and Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire. The rentals division is administered from Wythenshawe in Manchester.
