Rotterdam, Netherlands: Freight forwarder CH Robinson Europe has opened an office in Rotterdam specifically to provide temperature-controlled logistics services.
Temperature-controlled transport is one of the fastest growing business segments for the company on the European continent. CH Robinson has 34 offices in Europe, some of which already have a strong presence in refrigerated transportation. However, the Rotterdam office is the company’s first in Europe to specifically focus on the service.
“CH Robinson helps its customers increase their transportation visibility, traceability, and service all while cutting costs out of their supply chain. Our objective is to share these best practices here in Europe, while developing new services specific to our customers’ needs,” said Dusty Waldron, manager of CH Robinson’s Rotterdam office.
During the first phase, the Rotterdam office will focus on agricultural products as full loads.
