Quebec, Canada: Congébec Logistics, the largest refrigerated logistics provider in Quebec, has acquired the assets of Westco MultiTemp Distribution Centres.
Congébec purchased four temperature-controlled warehouses in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and in Alberta. With this acquisition, Congébec now has 12 warehouses in Canada, including eight in the East and four in Western Canada providing some185,000 pallet positions.
Congébec is now the 12th largest public refrigerated warehousing company in North America and 15th in the world among member companies of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses.
“Our major national and international clients will now be able to benefit from a national temperature controlled distribution network and use Congébec as a “one stop shop” for all of their logistics needs across the Country.,” says Laurier Pedneault, president, Congébec.
