Bodmin, Cornwall, UK; Carrier Transicold UK has appointed Cornwall Refrigerated Transport Services (CRTS), formerly a sub-dealer to Carrier Transicold Southern, as a full service partner handling installation, repair and maintenance of Carrier transport refrigeration units nationally.

CRTS, now operating under the name of Carrier Transicold Cornwall, will continue to serve customers from its workshop in Bodmin. “The CRTS team has serviced Carrier equipment for more than 13 years, and their knowledge of our products and high-levels of customer service are evidence of a supplier we value representing our business,” said Ross Thomson, network operations manager, Carrier Transicold UK.
CRTS began as a one-man operation in October 1999, set-up in the garage of managing director, Tim Edwards. “Achieving service partner status enhances the profile of our organisation and demonstrates to customers and prospects that we are endorsed by the industry leader.”
Future plans for CRTS include expansion into another purpose-built workshop, plus the continued growth of its customer base throughout the southwest, he says.
