Cheltenham, UK: Food wholesaler Creed Foodservice is introducing Microlise’s Journey Management and E-Pod (electronic proof of delivery) technology to its 87 vehicles.
The move is designed to improve Creed’s delivery processes and customer satisfaction, and “embrace a more efficient, technology-driven operation”.
E-Pod provides image-capturing capabilities, enabling drivers to seamlessly carry out tasks while on the road, eliminating paperwork, and streamlining operations, Microlise says.
Creed can now provide its end customers with accurate estimated time of arrival with Microlise’s Journey Management technology.
Microlise says that the switch from paper-based processes to its technology contributes to a more eco-friendly approach to daily operations.
Richard Frost, Creed’s head of operations, said: “Creed was looking for a partner to improve our customers’ service experience by being easier to do business with. In addition, to enhance our own efficiencies, while reducing the cost and environmental impact of our operation.
“Working with Microlise has been a great experience and we look forward to developing further solutions and our relationship into the future.”
