Keene, NH, US: C&S Wholesale Grocers has taken over the distribution and procurement for 97 Marsh supermarkets across Indiana and Ohio.
Marsh used to carry out the distribution itself but has decided outsource the logistics side of the business to focus exclusively on its core retail business.
C&S Wholesale Grocers is the largest food wholesaler and according to Forbes magazine, the 10th largest privately held company in the US. The company distributes food to supermarkets, retail stores and military bases across the country.
C&S serves about 3,900 stores from more than 50 locations in 10 states.
