Dairy Crest closes Shropshire plant

Crudgington, Shropshire, UK:  Dairy Crest is to close its Shropshire dairy spread plant and transfer production to Liverpool.

Manufacture of the Clover branded spread is currently split between plants at Kirkby, Liverpool and Crudgington, Shropshire. The closure affects 90 people but 45 jobs will be created at the Kirkby plant, says the company.
