Express Supplies expands fleet to meet sales growth

Littlehampton, West Sussex, UK:  Fast food supplier, Express Supplies, has taken delivery of three Mercedes Benz 7.5 tonne multi-compartment refrigerated trucks.

The trucks have refrigerated body work from RVL and Hubbard 720 AELT-24-3 fridges. The Hubbard fridges provide  -21°C for the freezer compartment and +1°C for the chilled compartment.  Fast pull down was a prime requirement for Express Supplies, with delivery drops ranging from between 10 and 25 drops per route with door openings sometimes as long as one hour.

Express Supplies has 15 trucks delivering to customers in London and the south east and the south west  from Plymouth to Bristol.

David England, operations manager Express Supplies says, “Our company is growing rapidly and to ensure that we maintain the high levels of service that our customers have come to expect, we are investing heavily in the quality control elements of our business, especially on the delivery side”.

“The 720 systems are currently performing well against the other systems we use. We enjoy a very good relationship with the local engineer and look forward to specifying more Hubbard products in the future if the current units prove to be as reliable as we expect”.
