Paddock Wood, Kent, UK: Fowler Welch has won a contract with Winterbotham Darby to store, pick and despatch 5m cases of food a year through Fowler’s site at Paddock Wood, Kent.
Product will be distributed to Winterbotham’s UK customer base with future opportunity for additional growth over the term of the contract. The bespoke service offered by Fowler clinched the deal for Winterbotham Darby says Ian Render, operations manager, Winterbotham Darby.
“We run an intensive operation which places high demands on the supply chain. We were looking for a distribution partner who could meet, and surpass, our needs and Fowler Welch stepped up the plate,” he says.
