Frozen Food Fedration networking seminars

Long Bennington, Newark, UK: The British Frozen Food Federation is hosting two free networking events for those working in the frozen food industry.

The events are at at Edgbaston’s Warwickshire County Cricket Club on 5 October and at Glasgow’s Hampden Park on 6 October from 11.00am to 4.30pm.  An optional tour of each sporting ground is also available at 11.45am.

The events are open to all businesses involved in the frozen food industry, the cold chain and those who provide services to the industry for example, insurers, logistic service providers and cold store construction.

Brian Young, director general of federation said: “We are keen to meet with companies around the country to highlight the benefits that the federation offers to members. The BFFF’s range of support services is far reaching and includes seminars and workshops, technical legislative and health & safety updates, early warnings on impending initiatives, assistance with sourcing issues and a range of membership benefits.

“Our mission is to promote and protect the interests of the frozen food industry. We expect that the event will also present a fantastic networking opportunity for all attendees.”

The Edgbaston seminar includes presentations from federation members – including Asda, Cargill Meats Europe and Hopwells. The Glasgow seminar includes presentations from Iceland and Aulds Delicious Desserts.
