FSDF conference examines supply chain challenge

Nottingham, UK:  The Food Storage and Distribution Federation will consider the challenges to the supply chain posed by current economic conditions at its 2012 conference,

Sessions will review how successful corporate supply chains bring food manufacturing and logistics together to provide profitable business solutions.

The conference, which is run in collaboration with the British Frozen Food Federation, includes keynote sessions from government and manufacturing. Breakout sessions cover manufacturing and logistics issues, as well as technical and operations areas including update sessions on the new Climate Change Agreements and on ammonia driven refrigeration plant regulations.

An exhibition of latest equipment and services to support businesses is also included.
Chris Sturman, the federation’s chief executive says: “The agenda for this years conference is packed with great keynote speakers, strategic and operational content streams and lots of invaluable opportunities to network with colleagues and others across the food industry.”
