Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK: Gist has opened new chilled distribution centres in Stone and Sheffield to expand its UK and European specialist temperature-controlled network.
Martin Gwynn, chief executive, Gist, said: “Gist’s position as a leading player in the temperature controlled supply chain has been strengthened with the addition of these new sites”.
Gist, owned by gases company the Linde Group, has a turnover of €600m and is one of the largest UK logistics service providers for perishable and chilled goods.
