Intelleflex makes Fruit Logistica debut

Berlin, Germany: Intelleflex will exhibit its Freshness Management solution at Fruit Logistica as part of its European growth and development plans.

The Intelleflex Freshness Management solution enables growers, producers, co-ops and pre-cool operators to reduce loss due to spoilage, improve quality and food safety and address traceability requirements.

Intelleflex provides actionable data for tracking and monitoring the temperature and condition of produce and other temperature-sensitive products from harvest or production and onto distribution to the store shelf. This provides on-demand visibility of the product’s condition – without unpacking pallets and containers or unloading the trailer – to improve and maximise shelf-life while increasing customer satisfaction and brand value.

Intelleflex systems allow users to easily utilise temperature data to dynamically route the product’s outbound transit time with pallet-level shelf-life expectancy to reduce waste.

It also so allows pallet-level track and trace capabilities for chain-of-custody and food safety.
Fruit Logistica is one of the largest trade fairs for the international fresh produce industry. Taking place 6 – 8 February. The event brings together the leading experts within the industry from suppliers to packaging to transport and IT solutions.

Throughout the course of the three day event, Intelleflex will be meeting with prospective partners and customers. Erik Cotman, director of EMEA for Intelleflex said, “We are delighted to be exhibiting at  Fruit Logistica for the first time. As the biggest fruit trade show in Europe it is the perfect opportunity for us to continue our growth within the fresh, frozen and perishable food market.” He added, “We are excited to have the opportunity to directly speak with customers and network with those within the industry.”
