Denver, CO, US: The International Refrigerated Transportation Association has named Brian Abel, vice-president of operations for Howell’s Motor Freight as Executive of the Year – an annual award to recognise someone who has made a significant contribution to the US refrigerated transport industry.
Abel was recognised for his ability to creatively respond to trends and changes in the refrigerated trucking industry and his willingness to share his expertise with other members of IRTA. Abel currently works for Howell’s Motor Freight, a temperature-controlled trucking and warehousing company headquartered in Roanoke VA.
Abel was presented with his award during the recent American Frozen Food Institute-Global Cold Chain Alliance Food Logistics Forum in Denver.
