Rathcoole, Co Dublin, Ireland: Meat producer Feldhues has appointed Culina Logistics Ireland to manage the distribution of its products to grocery retailers in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The contract includes storage, order picking and distribution of products through Culina’s shared user network. Culina Logistics Ireland will manage the operation from its 16,000sq metre chilled, ambient and temperature controlled warehouse at Rathcoole, County Dublin, of nine facilities in its UK and Ireland network.
The contract extends and mirrors the operation in the UK where Culina Logistics has been working with Feldhues for 20 years.
“This is an ideal fit for our expanding business in Ireland and means we can provide Feldhues with a local service tailored to its requirements throughout the island,” says Paul O’Donnell, operations director at Culina Logistics Ireland.
“We will also support the distribution of products so that they have access to the full resources and network of Culina Group in the UK and beyond.”
