Krone’s UK range that includes Profi Liner sliding roof curtainsiders, Cool Liner temperature controlled trailers, Coil Liner coil carriers and Dry Liner box trailers are available direct to Irish buyers.

Krone’s UK managing director Fran Pickering says: “After very encouraging trailer sales in our traditional UK market place in recent years, we have responded to operators and retailers in Ireland by extending direct sales across the Republic.”
Pickering and sales manager, Jon Wilcock of Krone Trailers UK will lead the sales initiative in ireland offering a direct sales service to operators in Ireland thereby removing the requirement for any third party or agency involvement.
Krone was short listed in the annual Motor Transport Awards for its Multi-Safe Load Securing System. Available with the Profi Liner Curtainsider, it is based on a universal mechanism which provides the basis of a load-securing system for hauliers carrying a wide variety of goods. For example paper rolls, steel coils, palleted beverages, kegs, tubing, sheet metal and panels.
The multi-safe application has a multi-lock side rave supplied with 126 strapping points on each side of the vehicle, which gives more than 3,000 options for securing the load. The system has already had good feedback from hauliers. The award scheme’s judges said that the trailer demonstrates a “good response to solving a problem” and a “comprehensive approach to a long-standing issue affecting many”. They also said the system was very practical, and were impressed that it could cater for many types of cargo in Ireland.
