The FH16-750, one of the first to go on the road in the UK, is the latest acquisition by the family owned company. It added two Volvo FH-500 6×2 tractor units to its 16 vehicle fleet in late 2011.

Like the previous Volvos, the FH16-750 was supplied by Thomas Hardie Commercials with maintenance carried out at its Knowsley workshops.

M J Griffiths’ new truck is trunking locally grown fruit and vegetables to wholesale markets in London, Bristol, Cardiff and Glasgow.

M J Griffiths Transport, founded by Mick Griffiths in 1991, also has a 4,300sq metre chilled warehouse system storing fruit, dairy products, and vegetables.
