Buenos Aires, Argentina: Supply chain management company Marken has opened a temperature-controlled clinical distribution centre. The firm is expanding its clinical distribution network in Latin America that serves 1200 research sites in the region.
The extension will support existing operations in Mexico providing services in ambient, refrigerated, and frozen temperature-controlled storage, and a secured area for controlled substances. Wes Wheeler, chief executive, said earlier that: “The expansion of these facilities is just one more step in supporting our clients’ needs in controlling the chain-of-custody of clinical trial assets.”
