Oss, The Netherlands: Movianto Nederland, which provides logistics and transport of pharmaceuticals, is about to operate from its new warehouse claimed to be Europe’s largest frozen pharmaceutical storage site.
The Oss distribution centre serves the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry and has 22,000 temperature-controlled pallet spaces and meets GDP guidelines and ISO 9001:2008 certification.
It has 50 frozen pallet spaces at -40ºC for specialty pharmaceutical products. A dedicated area within the warehouse has a capacity for 2,220 pallets at +2 ºC to +8 ºC, and 350 frozen (-20 ºC) pallets spaces which can be used for storing blood plasma products. This can be extended to house a further 750 pallets. It also has 1,100 ambient narcotics pallet spaces and a manufacturing room for relabeling and repackaging.
Movianto Nederland operates a dual temperature-controlled and validated transport fleet.
