Baltimore, MD, US: MTC Logistics, the oldest and largest temperature-controlled logistics company in Maryland, has “gone solar” at its Port of Baltimore distribution site, commissioning one of the largest roof-mounted solar installations in the state.
Solar energy services firm HelioSage handled the project. “Our intention from the outset was to make this facility one of the most environmentally friendly distribution centers in the nation,” said Harry Halpert, president, MTC Logistics.
