Auckland, New Zealand: Shipping line CMA CGM is launching a new freight container service connecting Asia, the Fiji Islands and New Zealand, effective from the 18 July.
The Anzec service will give “an enhanced capacity of reefers in order to meet the growing demand of refrigerated transport in the region,” the company says. The new weekly service with 7 ships of 1,800 TEU provides two ports of call in New Zealand’s North Island and two ports of call in New Zealand’s South Island.
The service rotation will be: Port Kelang, Chiwan, Shangai, Pusan, Suva, Auckland, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Tauranga, Noumea and back to Port Kelang.
