Dalian, Liaoning, China: A new district in the city of Dalian, Liaoning province is looking for investors “interested in sharing the incredible growth in one of Northeast China’s most promising economies”, says Xu Changyuan, party secretary and head of district administration.
The Dalian Jinzhou New District was set up in April 2010 and includes the Dalian Cold Chain Logistics and Food Processing Park. This handles seafood and is planned as a regional cold chain logistics centre.
The Jinzhou government has provincial government status so can approve investment projects up to $100m so any investors can complete the application process inside the district itself. The administrative committee has opened a one-stop office for greater efficiency.
The Cold Chain Logistics operation is one 10 zones focused on a specific industry set up by Jinzhou New District.
