Nolan Transport launch online customer portal system

New Ross, Co. Wexford, Ireland: Nolan Transport has launched an online customer portal to improve service, planning, administration, tracking and analysis for customes.

Users can plan jobs directly online and track jobs on a real-time interactive map as well as see ‘paperwork’ and view past PODs and invoices, the company says.

It provides reporting and will generate monthly and weekly spending reports as well as calculate a customer’s carbon footprint for each job.

The system generates a scheduled Job Flash email which is sent to the customer.  The Job Flash includes a map detailing the current location of the customers live jobs.

A concise SMS version of the Job Flash is also available, which can be setup on a per load basis. The service and frequency can be configurable through the customer’s personal online customer portal login.

The system provides automated calculation of the estimated time of arrival for customer loads and will transmit alerts via SMS or e-mail to the customer in the event of any delay.

Nolan Transport owns and operates a 450 tractor fleet with over a 1000 trailers, covering Ireland, the UK and the continent with ambient and temperature controlled transport.
