Saint Vallier, France: Sales at Norbert Dentressangle have climbed 24.9% to 2.6bn euros for the first nine months of 2011.
Transport and logistics businesses reported “satisfactory organic growth” and increased sales following the integration of TDG, said Norbert Dentressangle.
In the logistics division sales grew 25.8% to 1.2bn euros while transport increased 19.9% to 1.5bn euros.
Norbert Dentressangle gained transport market share during the period with growth of some 5%, without passing on the diesel fuel impact.
On a like-for like basis, logistics revenue rose 4.1% in the first nine months of 2011, with a continued uptrend reported, notably in the UK, Norbert Dentressangle’s leading logistics market.
The group says that freight forwarding activity is on track to generate 100 million euros in annual revenue.
“In today’s uncertain economic climate, Norbert Dentressangle is flexible enough to manage its own resources according to its customers activity levels,” said the company in a statement.
