Nova Cold Storage gets state aid for new store

Dartmouth, Canada: The federal government is helping financially Nova Cold Storage to build a $9.5million store at the Atlantic Gateway-Halifax Logistics Park.

The facility is already under construction. Nova Cold is expanding to accommodate its frozen fish and processed-food storage business, which serves processors, exporters and freight forwarders.

The 5,500sq metre facility, on Wilkinson Avenue in Dartmouth, will house 5,500 pallets. The new facility will give the company more than twice the pallet capacity of its existing cold storage space on Thornhill Drive which will close when the new site is operational.
