Llanelli, Dyfed, UK: Welsh temperature-controlled operator NR Evans & Son has boosted pre-tax profit by just over 5% even though turnover dipped slightly in the year to 31 August 2010.
The Carmarthenshire-based company firm made a pre-tax profit of £266,000 in the year — a 5.1% rise on the £253,000 made in the previous 12 months. However, revenue slipped 5.3% to £20m from £21.2m during the same period.
