Redditch, UK: Oakland International’s retailer scheme has helped Cleone Foods’ Island Delight patties weekly product volumes grow by 190% since the original contract began.
Oakland International operations director, Paul Ziolek, says: “Cleone Foods Island Delight patties are a real organic growth success story, with Oakland now storing, picking and distributing all patties to UK Retailers allowing Cleone Foods to focus on core business and drive sales.”
“Every week over 100,000 Island Delight patties are made, all destined for retailers across the UK. Storing, picking and distributing via Oakland International’s chilled consolidation pallets, for direct delivery in to retailer depots, the company actively supports Cleone Foods by helping save on storage and distribution costs, where previously Cleone had held ownership from initial production through to end despatch,” he said.

Oakland International also covers Europe with producers and suppliers France, Germany and Italy using the firm’s supply chain services but the company’s focus remaind “on helping small and medium sized UK and Irish producers access retailers, wholesalers, discounters and convenience outlets” the company says.
