New Hartford, NY, US: Par Logistics Management Systems is fitting Alliance Shippers’ fleet of 1,700 refrigerated trailers with a two-way monitoring and control system.
The Par system provides real-time temperature monitoring on a continual basis during transit over road or rail and provides immediate alerts to Alliance’s fleet operations of any variances in the temperature or refrigerated trailer’s operating mode.
Ed Wright, Alliance Shippers vice-president of the Refrigerated Division, says: “We decided to switch to Par’s monitoring system for their technology, their willingness to learn our business and their outstanding customer service.”
