New Jacksonville, FL, US: PLS Logistics Services will open a new office in Jacksonville, Florida on 31 May.
“PLS is excited about the opening of our new Jacksonville Branch,” says Greg Burns, chairman of PLS. “We feel Jacksonville, with its growing port operations is a good fit with PLS’s industrial shipper and carrier base… we look forward to expanding our presence there.”
The new office in Jacksonville will have nine staff from the firm’s Cranberry, PA location, and eight staff recruited locally. PLS expects to hire an additional 100 employees from the Jacksonville market over the next two years.
PLS Logistics Services is based in Pittsburgh, PA and provides truck brokerage services shipping over a million loads annually through its network that includes over 10,000 motor carriers, Class-1 railroads and major barge companies.
