Redditch, UK: Work on Langdons’ new £8m depot in Redditch is progressing well and expected to be finished by late July or early August.
The new 4,645sq metre site will include storage capacity for 3,500 frozen pallets (in mobile racking) and 1,700 static pallet positions in the chill room. There will be 13 doors behind which will be a 22-metre deep load assembly area. Langdons had rented warehousing space in the West Midlands for the last seven years.
The company has depots in Bridgwater, Luton, Peterborough, Dover, Liverpool, Glasgow and Barnsley.
