Pulleyn strikes a chord with US orchestras

Reading, UK: Pulleyn Transport is using two new Chereau trailers, designed specifically for orchestra transport, to work with three US orchestras touring in Europe in August and September.

The Chereau-designed temperature-controlled trailers have built-in under chassis ramps and back up refrigeration units.

“In August and September our teams will be busy arranging the dedicated transport of three major Orchestras flying in from the USA.

“We are especially pleased to be working again for all three. We have new trailers for their instruments, dedicated and experienced drivers, all of whom have toured at some point with these orchestras,” a company spokesperson said.

“The venues are varied as always and will need expert drivers and crew to provide support in getting the instruments to and from each venue in first class condition.”

The orchestras are: Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, and Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
