Hapag-Lloyd has become the latest carrier to resume services to the ports of Tokyo, Yokohama and Nagoya following radiation fears over the damaged Fukushima nuclear power plant.
NYK Line, K Line, Maersk Line, MSC, CMA CGM and OOCL resumed services to the Tokyo Bay area ports last week.
Hapag-Lloyd said: “The decision was made after radiation measurements in the Tokyo Bay area showed stable and decreasing values for a number of days.”
