New York, US: The most important pharmaceutical supply chain initiative is “collaborative supply chain partnership, according to Pharma IQ’s new pharmaceutical cold chain management industry survey.
According to the survey, 28% of cold chain managers identified collaborative supply chain partnership as the most important initiative. The next most important was a risk-based approach, using track and trace data: 21% of respondents voted for this.
The two greatest concerns in pharmaceutical imports reported by respondents were temperature deviations and counterfeit products leading to adverse events.
