US food logistics forum to explore critical cold chain issues

Alexandria, VA, US: Frozen food makers, food retailers, foodservice companies, third-party logistics (3PL) providers and other cold chain industry professionals will gather in New Orleans in June for the Food Logistics Forum, the premier US event for examining the latest cold chain industry issues, trends, techniques and developments.

Co-hosted by the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) and the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), the 2012 Food Logistics Forum is set for June 3-5, 2012, at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans.

This year’s forum will explore a broad range of critical cold chain issues, including: truck and driver shortages, new federal hours of service rules, Compliance Safety and Accountability (CSA) scores, container availability, intermodal options, and disaster planning.
