Wincanton Records Management’s new vehicles have temperature-controlled containers

Rainham, Essex: Document storage firm Wincanton Records Management (WRM) has invested in a fleet of new vehicles equipped with temperature-controlled sealed containers, dual-key starting systems and GPS tracking devices.

The new vehicles, which are being used to serve customers in the UK and Ireland, have a newly designed livery.

As well as replacing vehicles, the new fleet contains a wider mix of vehicle type to support WRM’s clients’ changing needs, the company says. Many of the new vehicles also feature four-wheel drive, which the company says will make sure that WRM continues to maintain regular service through challenging weather conditions.

David Woolley, WRM development director, says: “We started with the introduction of all-wheel drive vehicles during the winter last year and are introducing two mobile shredding vehicles this year, so the new liveried vehicles were a natural next-step to ensure our transport services remain unrivalled in the industry.”
WRM has 10 records management centres in the UK, storing more than 20 million documents.
