Arlington, Virginia, USA: The Global Cold Chain Alliance and the International Foodservice Distributors Association have created an ad-hoc partnership to address the change in short-term workforce needs fuelled by the coronavirus pandemic.
The partnership will connect International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses warehouse facilities requiring additional warehouse labor due to a heightened demand on the cold chain with foodservice distributors that have reported excess warehouse capacity.
Members should contact Dan Nappi, director of workforce development at the Global Cold Chain Alliance who will work with the International Foodservice Distributors Association to find a potential match.
