Heathrow, UK: Richard Hoyte is the new technical director at Perishable Movements (PML).
The newly created position at Perishable Movements sees Hoyte taking responsibility for transport and warehouse and packing managers. He will work alongside directors at a strategic level.
He joined the company in 2010 as a warehouse manager and prior to this appointment was production and transport manager.
Hoyte was previously with a fresh produce handler overseeing the distribution for the School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme in the south of England.

Originally from Barbados, he came to the UK in 1985 where he spent 15 years in the manufacturing sector.
“PML has an excellent track record for developing its staff and I’m delighted to have been given this opportunity to further hone the company’s proven technical capabilities associated with its credentials as a leading player in the transfer of temperature sensitive goods,” Hoyte said.
