Omaha, Nebraska, USA: Hill Brothers is using Orbcomm‘s telematics with data held on a cloud-based analytics platform to monitor its dry and refrigerated trailers.
Hill Bros started installing Orbcomm’s telematics in February this year and expects to complete the rollout by July.
Orbcomm’s platform provides the real-time data and intelligence that allows Hill Bros to better use its refrigerated trailers and gain fuel savings regardless of the reefer unit’s make or model.
Hill Bros is also using Orbcomm’s dry trailer monitoring system which has a solar panel to charge the batteries.
Hill Bros can manage all its assets with intuitive icons to distinguish asset types, reports by asset type along with customizable workspaces and access control so that each user within the organization gets the data they need quickly and easily.
