Stafford, UK: Blue Cube, which supplies blast freezers, blast chillers and portable cold stores, has appointed former Schmitz Cargobull managing director Alan Hunt as its new managing director. He took up his role on 11 April.
Hunt says: “I join the company at a hugely exciting time, with exclusive new products and a brand new website just a few highlights of our immediate plans. It’s clear that many of our customer partners benefit from Blue Cube’s transparent approach to doing business and I am looking forward to working with all my team as we implement our ambitious plans for the future.”
Hunt replaces Steve Blakemore who is retiring.
Blue Cube says the company has experienced significant growth, forging close partnerships with leading UK manufacturers to develop exclusive product ranges. This led to the company launching its Ultra Range of “Smart Hybrid” portable blast freezers and holding units.
