Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, USA: PLS Logistics Services has appointed Fred Boehler to its board.
“I’ve been impressed with the high service culture and advanced technology of PLS Logistics and look forward to working with the team as the company continues to expand its footprint in the cold supply chain,” Boehler said.
Boehler most recently was chief executive of Americold Logistics. The last 12 years of his career has been focussed on the cold chain. Before serving eight years at Americold Logistics, he was senior vice president of supply chain at Supervalu.
Boehler also served on the board of the Global Cold Chain Alliance for almost nine years.
