Tyne and Wear, UK: DFDS Logistics has returned to Krone for an unspecified number of trailers, including reefers, as part of an expansion of its European trailer fleet.
The order includes Krone Huckepack Profi Liners, Mega Liners, Cool Liners and Box Liners.
“This is all about choosing the best trailer equipment to match individual customer needs,“ Keith Sutton, equipment director, DFDS, said.
The curtainsided Huckepacks – 200 are included in the latest order – are designed to integrate road and rail operations. “The trailers fit well with our sustainable multimodal logistics network and help to reduce environmental impact,” Sutton said.
