Gateshead, UK: OSE European has expanded its fleet with three new Daf tractors and four Mercedes-Benz vans to meet growing demand for UK and European transport.
OSE trunks throughout Europe carrying time-critical deliveries and temperature-sensitive loads.
Rob Jackson, director, OSE European, said: “The deployment of temperature-controlled vans in the transportation of pharmaceutical consignments is absolutely essential.”
“Refrigerated vehicles play a tremendously important role in these deliveries, as a large number of medicines must be kept at specific temperatures.”
“Our recent fleet expansion reflects the considerable increase in workload that we have recently witnessed. These new additions to our already sizable fleet will further improve our ability to get consignments delivered in accordance with the promises we make to our clients, those of speed, accuracy and certainty,” Jackson said.
“Our pharmaceutical and manufacturing customers rely on us to maintain and monitor the temperature of their consignments en route to the final destination, whether that be UK laboratories or throughout the journey to the many airfreight destinations we cover around the world.
“We’re delighted to have expanded our fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles, ensuring we can transport any temp-sensitive consignments safely and efficiently, bringing peace of mind to the customer.”
