One-day supply chain resilience conference

London, UK: A one-day conference, Supply Chain Resilience, for industry leaders to debate the issues affecting the resilience of the sector and identify ways to protect the movement of goods to their end customer is being staged by Logistics UK next month.

The event at the America Square Conference Centre, London on Thursday 23 March, will provide “business representatives with the opportunity to learn and debate with engaging keynote speakers and high-level panel discussions throughout the day”, Logistics UK says.

The keynote presentation will be delivered by Alan McKinnon, professor of logistics at Kuhne Logistics University and Professor Emeritus at Heriot-Watt University.

The day’s programme will include presentations and debate from other leading industry experts and examine previous lessons learned, as well as identifying future issues which could affect the efficacy of the UK’s supply chain.

“Supply chain resilience is an issue which has risen to the top of many business leaders’ concerns, following a range of disruptions over the past few years,” Phil Roe, president Logistics UK, and conference chair, said.

Tickets are priced at £100 + vat for members and £120 + vat for non members.
