Diss, Suffolk: The Gressingham Group has acquired Lincolnshire-based Hemswell Coldstore. Hemswell stores up to 5000 pallets of frozen produce.

Stephen Hill, general manager at Hemswell Coldstore, said: “We started Hemswell Coldstore in 2011 and have since taken this from startup to a market leader within the sector, delivering large-scale operations within the UK and around the world.
“Selling to Gressingham Foods is a great fit for the company and I am confident that with Gressingham’s huge expertise in the industry, Hemswell will go from strength to strength.
Hemswell Coldstore holds an AA grade, the highest accreditation for food safety standards from the British Retail Consortium.
