Bremerhaven, Germany: Lineage is developing a new 19,000 sq metre site in Bremerhaven, Germany within the heart of the food industry at Fischereihafen.
The new Bremerhaven site is expected to have direct access to a quay to handle multi modal deliveries.
“We are delighted to announce the ongoing development of our latest facility in Bremerhaven, which underscores Lineage’s commitment to bolstering our customers’ global supply chains,” said Harld Peters, president, Lineage Europe.
Frank Wehlau, recently appointed as managing director Germany at Lineage said: “The build of our facility in the Fischereihafen is aimed at allowing us to effectively address the needs of our customers, extending not only to retailers but also to food producers and suppliers who seek proximity to their end customers.” The planned Bremerhaven site follows the the acquisition of the Kloosterboer group in 2021 with completion expected by December 2024.
